BRC Area 17 Training Day - free to members and well worth booking in to.
This year the Area Committee has arranged for Adrian House to come and talk to us about Show Jump Course Design and Building. This will take place at Braishfield, in the park where we hold our evening show jumping shows, on Thursday 17 July, starting at 6.30 p.m. Adrian is a BSJA Judge and Median Course Designer. This year he was assistant course designer at the Badminton Horse Trials. Some of you will also know him as the BRC Stable Manager at the Riding Club National Championships at Lincoln. He will talk about what can be done and what cannot be done in SJ course design and there will be practical experience of building a course. Essential for budding course designers and all riders.

Show Jumping Show, Braishfied, Saturday 19 July
On Saturday 19 July, Chilworth Riding Club will organise and run an Open Show Jumping show using the courses designed and built on the Thursday at the Area Training Day. Schedules will be posted on the area 17 web site and will have classes from 0.70m to 1.00m. We will need a few helpers on the day to act as stewards. If you can spare some time please contact Michelle on 01794 367157.

N.B. The deadline for all training rallies is 5 days prior so, to avoid disappointment, please ensure you get your reply slip to the relevant organizer in time.
